Manufacturing Machine Operator (4x10 Overnight Shift) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Mebane, NC – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $19.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time Monday–Thursday (overnights)
- Shift ends at 7:00 AM Friday
- 4x10 schedule (10-hour shifts) - Includes 1-hour break
Manufacturing Machine Operator | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Manufacturing Machine Operator supports routine production operations such as filling, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting product while following standard operating procedures and quality guidelines. This role also maintains accurate production records and works closely with the team to meet daily safety, quality, and output goals.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Manufacturing Machine Operator | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine production functions including filling, packing/packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting
- Maintain accurate records/logs in alignment with quality standards and site procedures
- Follow written instructions and standard operating procedures while working under direct supervision
- Apply basic process knowledge to complete routine, step-by-step tasks accurately
- Work effectively in a team environment to support production goals and daily priorities
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed based on business demand
- Communicate effectively with team leads/supervisors regarding workflow, issues, and needs
Manufacturing Machine Operator | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Experience: 1+ years of machine operator experience required
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend specifications written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis
- Team-oriented with willingness to rotate tasks/responsibilities
