MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: North Canaan CT 06018 – 100% On-site
• Payrate: $20/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• • Alternating schedule every two weeks
  • Must be flexible with extended hours as required

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator will support routine manufacturing and production operations. This role involves operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, completing documentation, and working collaboratively within a production team.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine production functions including filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting products
• Maintain accurate records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards
• Conduct in-process quality checks and complete all required quality documentation
• Assist with product and equipment changeovers
• Support basic equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Keep machinery and work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Accurately record production data, scrap, and waste
• Identify and report production or quality issues to leadership
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Support team communication and smooth shift handoffs
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Prior manufacturing or industrial experience required
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions
• Willingness to rotate between tasks and responsibilities
• Background check required prior to start
