MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: North Canaan CT 06018 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $20/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

- Alternating schedule every two weeks
- Must be flexible with extended hours as required
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will support routine manufacturing and production operations. This role involves operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, completing documentation, and working collaboratively within a production team.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine production functions including filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting products
- Maintain accurate records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards
- Conduct in-process quality checks and complete all required quality documentation
- Assist with product and equipment changeovers
- Support basic equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Keep machinery and work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Accurately record production data, scrap, and waste
- Identify and report production or quality issues to leadership
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Support team communication and smooth shift handoffs
- Work overtime as needed to meet production demands
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Prior manufacturing or industrial experience required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions
- Willingness to rotate between tasks and responsibilities
- Background check required prior to start
