MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $20/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator is responsible for performing routine production functions in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role operates under general supervision and follows standard operating procedures to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform production tasks including filling, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting products
- Operate equipment and support utility operations as needed
- Maintain accurate production records and logs
- Follow FDA, GMP, and ISO quality standards
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production goals
- Make routine decisions within standard practices and procedures
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as assigned
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English
- Basic math skills required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours
- Steel toe shoes required
