MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $20/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Rotating schedule, 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Overtime may be required
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will support routine production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on work in filling, packaging, labeling, assembling, and inspecting products while following established procedures and quality standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine production tasks including filling, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspection
- Maintain accurate production records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards
- Follow standard operating procedures under general supervision
- Support team goals and collaborate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs unassisted
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English and perform basic math
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
