MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $22.70/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time, 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)

- Must be able to work overtime on weekends as needed based on business demands.
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating equipment safely, ensuring product quality through regular inspections, and maintaining efficient production flow.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate production machinery, perform changeovers, and conduct basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Perform visual inspections using tools such as 10x microscopes, calipers, and other gauges to ensure all products meet specifications.
- Data Management: Accurately perform data entry into SAP and MES systems; maintain logs in accordance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to meet production goals, facilitate continuous operation during breaks, and assist in root cause analysis (BDA process).
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly work area (5S) and perform equipment cleaning/sanitizing as required.
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical specifications in English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including assembly, packing, and labeling under general supervision.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with MES, SAP, or precision measuring instruments is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to rotate through different tasks and responsibilities.
