MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $20/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday 8am-4pm

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator will support production by operating equipment, performing product inspections, packaging materials, and maintaining quality standards in a clean and safety-focused environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and want to build a career in manufacturing.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform filling, packing, packaging, labeling, and assembly tasks
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and changeovers
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
  • Maintain production records and complete required documentation
  • Enter production data into company systems
  • Perform quality checks using measuring tools and inspection equipment as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train in other production areas
  • Work with team members to achieve daily production goals
  • Follow all GMP, safety, and standard operating procedures

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
