Job Description:
- Lead daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant utility systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, water treatment, and wastewater equipment.
- Supervise skilled trades employees responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical utility systems supporting manufacturing processes.
- Manage preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize work orders, allocate manpower, and manage contractors to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including wastewater discharge permits, water treatment, and air permits, maintaining accurate operational records.
- Lead troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, and control issues across plant systems.
- Support operation and maintenance of automation systems such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and instrumentation.
- Shift/hours: Any shift, including weekends and overtime required to support plant operations.
- Remote/on-site/hybrid: On-site.
- Compliance/submission notes: Ensure environmental regulation compliance, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
