Facility Maintenance Technician Highlights

• The pay for this position $24.00 per hour
• Monday – Friday, 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Onsite position
• This position is a strike coverage opportunity

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of the facility and its systems
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and dock equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using technical documentation and schematics
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools
• Operate and maintain powered equipment as needed (certification provided)
• Escort vendors and contractors onsite
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, storing tools properly
• Complete daily maintenance logs and reports
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times
• Cross-train in various maintenance functions as required

Requirements

• Verified High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience in HVAC, fire protection, dock equipment, or safety systems OR 2+ years general maintenance experience or relevant vocational school training
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding warehouse conditions
• Basic certification in maintenance-related areas (as applicable)
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergencies as needed
• Must supply personal hand tools
• (If RX-related: Must pass DEA background check)
