Mammography Technologist (PRN) – Mammography Technologist
Location: Troy, MI 48085 (On-site)
Schedule: PRN | Variable shifts | Weekend rotation as needed
Pay: $38-$45/hr

Responsibilities
- Perform accurate, efficient mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment
- Verify patient identification, provider orders, and correct exam charging/documentation in EPIC
- Produce high-quality images using proper positioning techniques for screening, diagnostic, and tomosynthesis (3D mammography) exams
- Support invasive mammography procedures as assigned and monitor patients throughout for safety
- Maintain quality documentation and enter detailed information while supporting a calm, supportive patient experience
- Use PACS to send images/information accurately and efficiently; navigate hospital imaging workflows
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, and interdisciplinary teams on schedules, exam needs, and patient flow
- Restock and clean exam rooms, support department organization, and follow safety initiatives/competencies
- Perform additional duties as needed to support imaging operations
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT-accredited program (required)
- Current ARRT registration (R) and/or ARRT Mammography (M) (required upon hire per facility requirements)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) (required upon hire)
- 1+ year of relevant experience preferred (mammography experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of patient positioning, image quality standards, and patient safety practices
- Experience with EPIC, PACS, and hospital radiology workflows preferred
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a PRN setting
