Technical Writer – Hybrid – Boise, ID
Pay: $30/hr | Full-Time | 4 Days On-Site / 1 Day Remote
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Technical Writer in Boise, ID. This hybrid role focuses on creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation for a broad audience. You will collaborate closely with engineers and subject matter experts to produce accurate and engaging materials that go beyond SOPs and simple updates.
About the Role:
As a Technical Writer, you will leverage advanced document authoring tools and document lifecycle processes to manage technical materials and ensure high-quality standards. This role is hands-on and requires attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation using advanced authoring software.

Collaborate with engineers and SMEs to ensure accuracy and clarity of materials.

Manage document repositories, metadata, and access controls.

Ensure proper version control and document lifecycle compliance.

Develop graphics, charts, and visual content to enhance documentation.

Support training programs by maintaining LMS materials and training records as needed.

Manage documentation projects, including planning, monitoring, and reporting progress.
Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of technical documentation experience (can substitute for a bachelor’s degree).

Proficiency in advanced authoring tools such as MadCap Flare and FrameMaker.

Strong understanding of document lifecycle processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with SharePoint lists and libraries.

Experience documenting PSM/RMP systems.

Experience in high-volume manufacturing or semiconductor environments.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift, 8 hours per day (Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)
