Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Pay: $19 an hr | Bi-weekly
Job Type:
- Onsite in Brooks, KY 40109
Shift Options:
- 10-12 hours SHIFT
Shift hours: Monday - Thursday 12pm-10:30pm (until job is completed)
Warehouse Associate Overview:
- The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, checking, and preparing orders to fulfill client needs in a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role involves physical labor, including lifting, walking, and working in refrigerated conditions, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all operational and regulatory requirements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick, check, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform GMP services including relabeling, repacking, inspections, and aggregated serialization of products
- Work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 24°F), rotating in and out of the cooler every few hours (PPE provided)
- Lift and handle products weighing between 40–75 lbs
- Palletize products and operate rolling carts
- Use RF scanners, Klever cutters, and tape guns
- Perform down-stacking work and daily cleaning activities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise against receiving documents
- Report discrepancies or visible damages
- Stock shelves and rotate inventory so newer items are used last
- Prepare orders for shipment by pulling items from shelves and placing them into totes
- Process returns, including data entry and restocking merchandise
- Perform daily cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies
- Assist with inventory procedures and physical inventory counts as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area to prevent injuries and product contamination
- Comply with company policies, safety procedures, GMP standards, and DEA regulations
- Work overtime when required and support overall DC workflow
- Perform additional related duties as assigned

- Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Standing for long periods of time
- Walking, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Working with carts and palletized loads
- Ability to lift 40–75 lbs regularly
- Ability to work independently within a team-based environment
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand English for product descriptions, labels, and instructions
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge preferred (experience with WMS or PkMS systems is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good judgment and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with others
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
- Warehouse, distribution center, or order fulfillment experience
- Experience in a fully automated or WMS-enabled environment
