Forklift Operator | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Plainfield IN 46168 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $17.50/hr
• Required Availability: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (OT may be required)

Forklift Operator | Summary and Highlights:

The Forklift Operator will operate various types of MHE (material handling equipment) to move, store, and retrieve goods while following standard operating procedures to maintain safety and quality standards.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Forklift Operator | Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of MHE (material handling equipment) to move, store, and retrieve goods
• Follow standard operating procedures to maintain safety and quality standards
• Work in a metrics-driven environment and complete tasks with accuracy and urgency
• Keep records as needed and communicate effectively with your team
• Perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, stooping, etc.) in a warehouse environment
• Be prepared for exposure to moving machinery, extreme temperatures, and moderate to loud noise levels

Forklift Operator | Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 1+ years of relevant forklift experience
• Must have experience with: High Reach Forklift, Counterbalance Forklift, Double Pallet Jack, Order Pickers, Slip & Clamp, Dock Stockers
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to lift/move over 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions
• Must pass a drug test (10-panel) and background screening
• Flexibility to work OT as needed
• Safety shoes required
