Production Assembler | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Sandy UT 84070 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $17.50/hr
- Required Availability: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM and Sunday night into Monday morning, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM + possible OT
Production Assembler | Summary and Highlights:
The Production Assembler will contribute to the production of high-quality medical devices. This position offers steady hours, a team-oriented environment, and the potential for long-term growth.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Production Assembler | Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fabricate, test, and package medical devices
- Operate and maintain equipment; troubleshoot as needed
- Perform quality inspections in accordance with established guidelines
- Follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed
Production Assembler | Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Flexible to work overtime required
- 1+ year in manufacturing or assembly required
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Able to read and interpret documents and perform basic math
- Comfortable using tools of measurement such as microscopes
- Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible to work overtime and maintain consistent attendance
- Prior experience in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred
