Instrument Test Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $23.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Instrument Test Technician Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (some overtime possible)
Instrument Test Technician Responsibilities
-
Perform both production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization
-
Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment

Provide solutions as needed based on pass/fail criteria of instrument performance

Build, integrate, and understand the entire assembly process and requirements for instruments in the production area

Perform test instructions for moderately complex instruments, analyze results/data, and provide optimization solutions

Identify defects, recommend design and process improvements, and provide training to associates as needed

Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in compliance with safety and quality standards

Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing as required
Instrument Test Technician Requirements
-
Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or a relevant field OR 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting

Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and work instructions

Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-
Proficient in using PCs and basic Windows applications
-
Must demonstrate teamwork, continuous improvement mindset, and effective time management
-
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Instrument Test Technician Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement initiatives
-
Leadership or mentorship experience in a production or testing environment
