Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring Manufacturing Technicians in Manassas, VA. The Manufacturing Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.
Manufacturing Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $17-$18 per hour based on experience
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Manufacturing Technician Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesday, 7am-7pm
- This is a 12-hour day shift; the schedule may transition to nights based on business needs
- This position is performed in a cleanroom/Fab environment where employees are required to wear PPE, including a lab coat, mask, and gloves
- Employees will support the manufacturing of memory chips
Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to current process specifications, procedures, and change notifications
- Perform production and technical tasks within a semiconductor Fab organization
- Monitor and respond to SPC charts, failed tool qualifications, engineering targets, tests, and other manufacturing activities
- Monitor and collect production data and assist with lot dispositioning
- Troubleshoot equipment errors and assist with tool recovery
- Use computer-based programs and applications to complete daily production activities
- Maintain an organized workstation and follow 6S standards
- Communicate clearly and accurately during shift pass-downs
- Participate in required on-the-job training and complete certification and recertification requirements
- Follow all safety procedures and promptly identify and report hazards
- Provide feedback and suggestions to leadership and support teams to improve quality, safety, and production efficiency
- Use proper lifting techniques and maintain safe, ergonomic work practices
Manufacturing Technician Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear required PPE, including a lab coat, mask, and gloves
- Ability to operate computer-based programs and applications
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and process specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work a 12-hour schedule and transition to night shift if required
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Manufacturing Technician Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working for a semiconductor company
- Experience working or learning within a semiconductor Fab organization
- CNC machine experience
- Experience monitoring production equipment, troubleshooting equipment issues, or working with manufacturing process data
- Experience with SPC charts, lot processing, equipment qualifications, or similar manufacturing processes
