Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid)
Successful candidates for the Marketing Manager role must be extremely self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and innovative. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating modernistic and engaging multimedia campaigns and content to help increase visibility and brand loyalty across all platforms available for business-to-business marketing, in addition to delivering Business Communications and IT Solutions to customers, creating an exceptional customer experience.
Position Responsibilities:
• Create & manage strategies and tactics for the corporate marketing plan (direct mail, email, advertising, sales collateral, web development, and internal communications projects); manage and update corporate website strategy and content, as required
• Work collaboratively with Sales Managers to deliver marketing strategies and objectives, and improve effectiveness of messaging, content, and creative assets
• Plan, organize, and manage corporate event strategy (in-person or virtual exhibitions, seminars, workshops, trade shows, etc.)
• Regularly manage and report on analytics, SEO, and SEM for all websites
• Maintain and update customer database content for use in marketing activities
• Own and manage social media platforms, including strategy, calendar, content, and posts
• Develop & manage relationships with outside vendors
• Maintain compliance with prevailing corporate identity standards
• Create and manage demand generation campaign strategies, development, execution, data, and analytics
• Design and manage BDR/SDR outbound campaign execution and best practices
• Build and maintain relationships with sales & marketing peers at partner organizations
• Direct and liaison between upper management and marketing staff for reporting and success metrics
• Translate high-level goals and initiatives into actionable plans of attack
• Administer CRM for sales and marketing process automation, reporting, and campaign tracking purposes
• Identify new opportunities for growth (new products, technologies, applications, and/or market segments)
• Develop strategic and tactical marketing plans for new and existing businesses
• Conduct competitive analysis, strategic planning, and project management
• Demonstrate initiative and innovation, appropriate to the assignment and timeframe
• Handle other duties and tasks, as assigned
Position Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of digital & B2B marketing experience, preferably within the IT or Telecommunications industries
• Proven experience creating and executing a multi-channel marketing plan across several channels, bringing well-crafted narratives to life, while adhering to brand & style guidelines
• Proven ability to lead a marketing team of professionals
• Excellent project management skills, including organizing, prioritizing, and tracking all phases of a project
• Experience with demand generation strategies and campaigns
• A passion for written and verbal communication tactics
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite, and Google AdWords & Analytics
• Proficiency with WordPress and website creation & management
• Experience leveraging social media platforms for B2B engagement; experience using LinkedIn for B2B marketing and promotions
• Proficiency in SEO/SEM
• A curiosity to keep up with emerging trends and best practices; insatiable need to understand ‘what’ and ‘why’
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Self-motivated and ability to executive tasks/resolve issues independently and with minimal supervision
• A love of presenting in front of an audience and meeting new people
• Video & motion graphic creation and editing experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required
