Job Description

Job Title: Material Handler (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD 21152

Shift: M-F 10am-6:30pm

Pay: $18.00/hr.

Scheduled Pay: Bi-Weekly

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and short-term disability after 90 days

 

Material Handler Description/Duties

  • Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse. May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
  • This is a temperature-controlled warehouse. Associates may work in a temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 hours

Material Handler Requirements

  • High reach FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 0-1 year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
  • Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
  • Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
