Material Handler / Warehouse General Labor (Short-Term Temporary) – $20/hr
Location: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 (On-site)
Schedule: Mon–Thu 7:00am–3:30pm, Fri 6:30am–3:00pm (full-time)
Pay: $20/hour (W2)
Length: Short-term temporary assignment (about 1–2 weeks), start ASAP

Summary

Hiring immediately for a Material Handler to support a short-term warehouse clean-up and organization project. This temporary Material Handler role is hands-on and physical—great for candidates with warehouse, production, or general labor experience who can lift up to 50 lbs and work safely. Quick start for reliable workers who can clear compliance and show up ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform material handling: move, stage, and organize materials, supplies, and equipment
• Assist with facility/mezzanine clean-up, including breaking down scrap/shelving and disposing materials properly
• Load items onto pallets and move materials using pallet jacks as needed
• Sort and move materials to designated disposal/recycling areas (wood vs metal)
• Maintain safe work practices and keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor (standing, lifting, bending) throughout the shift
• Experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, General Laborer, Production Worker, or Shipping/Receiving preferred
• Forklift / hi-lo experience strongly preferred
• Reliable attendance and ability to start quickly for a short assignment
• Must pass a background check and drug screen to qualify
