Now hiring Material Handlers in Pittsburgh, PA 15238. The Production Team Members would be working PERMANENTLY / DIRECTLY for a medical device manufacturer in the device refurbishment department and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Manufacturing Associate Compensation & Highlights
- 100% Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA 15238 - Must have reliable transportation
- Annual Salary: $35,360 / $17.00/hr (Recently increased from $15.75/hr!)

- Interview is onsite with Production Manager
- Ideal candidates will be open to any shift time, candidates that are open for all three will get first priority for interviews
- Monday - Thursday (four 10s) with a 1 hour lunch
- 1st /day shift (4 days x 10 hours): 4 am - 2 pm OR 5 am - 3 pm
- 2nd / night shift: 2pm - 1 am
- Monday - Friday
- 6:30 am - 3 pm
- 10:30 am - 7 pm
- Wednesday - Saturday ( 4 x 10 shift)
- 6 am - 4 pm
- Monday - Thursday (four 10s) with a 1 hour lunch
- Targeted start dates: April 14th or April 21st
- One location does medical equipment refurbishment on returned wearable devices. This can include stagging of equipment, cleaning, wiring and testing. the other location will be material handling the shipments.
Manufacturing Associate Responsibilities
- SUMMARY: To perform assembly, service, or material handling (receiving, shipping, material movement, and transactions) of new and used medical devices and components according to procedure, with high quality results, within time standards, and in a positive and team-oriented manner.
- Perform build, clean, evaluation, servicing and material handling/transaction functions in a quality manner, according to procedure, within time standards, and across a broad number of operations and/or work stations.
- Work with others on a team and contribute as a team member in a helpful, positive, and non-disruptive manner.
- Act and operate safely at all times; follow all Safety requirements including safety procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While wearing provided PPE, may be assigned to clean or service used/recycled medical devices that have been worn, have been in peoples' homes, and are not clean.
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment.
- Accurately record process transactions via computer or in writing.
- Communicate potential quality or production problems and concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor right away.
- Cross-train to learn the skills necessary to be competent at a variety of positions.
- 'Flex' work assignments as needed by performing different work in various areas of the company, when requested.
- Identify and participate in process improvement opportunities.
Manufacturing Associate Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred - At least 1 year of experience in an electro-mechanical production or equivalent materials handling environment
- Reliable work history / tenure at past jobs (no job hoppers)
- Will be required to pass a drug screen (medical marijuana cards must be presented before the screening and obtained before applying)
