MATERIAL HANDLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $18/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Some OT required

- Weekdays and occasional Saturdays
- Possible extended shifts between 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
MATERIAL HANDLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Material Handler will support daily distribution operations. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MATERIAL HANDLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking cases, and labeling boxes
- Palletize completed orders and prepare shipments for outbound delivery
- Operate RF scanning technology to process and track inventory
- Verify order accuracy and ensure proper packaging
- Perform dock and manifest duties, including shrink wrapping pallets
- Assist with order picking, re-warehousing, and inventory activities
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and meet daily productivity goals
- Follow Lean manufacturing practices, including 5S standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Cross-train in other warehouse functions and assist as needed
- Participate in daily stretching and safety programs
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs
MATERIAL HANDLER | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Experience operating a pallet jack (electric preferred)
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment
- Repetitive motion, standing, walking, lifting, and material handling
- Pre-employment physical exam required
