MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Four Oaks, NC 27524 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $19.25/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Material Handler will support daily material handling and warehouse operations. This role requires prior forklift experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment while following established safety and quality standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks
- Move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
- Apply basic operational knowledge to complete routine tasks efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Support safe and organized warehouse operations
MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Previous forklift experience required
- 1+ year of warehouse or related experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English
- Basic math and general computer skills
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
- Steel toe shoes required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and warehouse equipment
- Non–climate-controlled environment (hot in summer, cool in winter)
- Moderate to loud noise levels
