Mechanical Engineer Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer 3 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in the design and development of components, systems, and finished products or equipment. The role will require working in a clean room environment, using SolidWorks to design and move large assemblies, and solving moderately complex technical problems independently. This is an onsite position, requiring the candidate to work 5 days a week.

Mechanical Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components, mechanisms, systems, and finished products or equipment.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering and apply this knowledge to solve moderately complex mechanical problems.
• Create designs for multiple components, systems, or devices independently.
• Test, analyze, and solve advanced technical problems using statistical techniques and design of experiments.
• Work independently with minimal guidance, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple assignments.
• Serve as a resource to colleagues with less experience, offering guidance on technical and engineering issues.
• Work in a clean room environment and wear appropriate protective gear during portions of the workday.

Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the use of SolidWorks for CAD design and moving large assemblies.
• Skills:
• Advanced knowledge and experience in mechanical design.
• Expertise in CAD (SolidWorks) with the ability to design and move large assemblies.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex engineering problems.
• Strong understanding of internal and external customer or business needs.
• Experience in clean room environments is preferred.
• Advanced statistical analysis and design of experiments skills.

Mechanical Engineer Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work in a clean room environment and follow appropriate safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in both standard and non-standard situations.
• Willingness to adapt to the specific needs of the company and its customers.

Mechanical Engineer Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $58/hour
