Mechanical Engineering Technician Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $24.00 per hour

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Mechanical Engineering Technician Highlights:

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is 1st shift

Mechanical Engineering Technician Responsibilities:

• Execute minimally complex test requests with moderate assistance, developing skills in all lab testing areas

• Perform bench-level engineering tests for design verification (DV), stability, feasibility, and test method developments (TMD)

• Support equipment qualification (IQ, OQ) and test method validation (TMV) development

• Troubleshoot test inconsistencies and communicate with requestors to find solutions

• Maintain good documentation practices (GDP) and good laboratory practices (GLP)

• Assist in creating tools for process simplification in testing lab operations

Mechanical Engineering Technician Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree OR Associates in Applied Science (AAS) OR High School Diploma with 4 years of experience in a regulated industry/laboratory setting

• Experience with Instron Software programs Blue-Hill 3 or Blue-Hill Universal & Tensile/Compression Testing preferred

• Proficient communication skills (written/verbal) and ability to work in a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in data collection and reporting

• Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand while performing tasks in a laboratory environment
