Med Surg RN Compensation

• Pay Range: $50-$53/hour
• Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• 401(k) with company match available after one year of service on eligibility dates

 Med Surg RN Highlights

• Shift Notes: Full Time
• Work Schedule: Nights | 12-hour shifts

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Establishes a therapeutic relationship and creates a detailed plan of care with the patient and family, mutually determining the aspects of care which are most important
• Evaluates the effectiveness of plans and interventions to promote optimum achievement of established goals. Initiates and maintains open communication with other members of the team to assure that the patient and family receive the full scope of interdisciplinary expertise and services with a coordinated and integrated plan of care.
• Communicates with patients, families, subordinate staff and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventions are understood, operationalized and revised, as appropriate.

Med Surg RN Requirements

• 2 years of experience is required.
• Travelers will be required to work the holidays.
• Travel is required.
• Okay with floating is required.
• Health system-wide profile standards apply.
• References are not required.
• A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required for RN specialties. All other professions outside of nursing are not required but preferred.
• Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys. If there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.
• Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
• Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
