Med-Surg/Tele Registered Nurse Summary and Highlights:
  • Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
  • Shift: Nights, 7pm – 730am | 36 hours per week
  • Med-Surg/Tele overflow unit, 13-bed unit, 1:5/6
The Med-Surg/Tele Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Med-Surg/Tele Registered Nurse Details and Compensation:
  • Location: Akron, OH 44304
  • Payrate: Negotiable based on traveler status and experience
  • Required Availability: Nights, 7pm – 730am | 36 hours per week | Some weekends and holidays
Med-Surg/Tele Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
  • 13-bed Unit Med/Surg/Tele overflow unit
  • Ratios: 1:5/6 (will vary based on patient level of care needs)
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC
  • Float Required as necessary and is based on census and available staff
Med-Surg/Tele Registered Nurse Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing through the CCNE or ACEN
  • Active OH RN License
  • 2+ years of recent relevant experience | MS/TELE
  • Phlebotomy experience within the last year
  • BLS/ACLS certifications (current)
  • EPIC experience in the last year
