Job description:

A-Line Staffing is seeking a qualified Med/Surg RN to join the team. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care, using the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will be responsible for delegating, supervising, documenting care, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and the health care team.

RN - Med Surg Schedule & Location:

• Shift: 7PM-7AM
• Worker may be required to float to an equal or lesser acuity if requested
• Location: Jackson MI 49201 United States

RN - Med Surg Salary/Wage:

• $50 per hour
• Additional benefits such as stipends for clinical travelers, medical, dental, vision, 401K

RN - Med Surg Duties:

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care
• Utilize nursing processes for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, document care and patient teaching
• Communicate with patients, families, and the health care team
• Float to other units as needed, including lockdown units

RN - Med Surg Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of general Med Surg unit experience
• BLS certification from AHA
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing

RN - Med Surg Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

RN - Med Surg Education:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
