Job Summary:
The Medicaid Enrollment Specialist will support Medicaid long-term care and home- and community-based programs by monitoring enrollment activities, resolving eligibility issues, reviewing reports, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor enrollment reports and contractor performance.

Identify and resolve eligibility and enrollment issues.

Work with contractors, agencies, and managed care organizations to resolve problems.

Provide guidance on Medicaid eligibility and enrollment policies.

Review participant records using state databases and systems.

Prepare weekly reports and track enrollment activities.

Participate in appeals, hearings, meetings, workgroups, and special projects.

Assist with improving policies, procedures, and enrollment processes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred.

At least 2 years of experience with Medicaid home- and community-based services and/or long-term care.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to interpret and follow policies, procedures, and regulations.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with agencies and contractors.

Public speaking experience is a plus.
