NOW HIRING: Certified Medical Assistant – Seasonal Flu Clinic

Location: Arcadia, CA

Pay: $27.73/hour
Contract Length: 6-Months
Start Date: September 14, 2026

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a seasonal flu clinic in Arcadia, CA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant looking to earn additional income during the busy vaccination season.

Schedule Details:

•  Part-time: 20 hours per week / 2–3 days per week (Fri-Mon are busier/high volume days)

• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM

• Saturday: 9:30 AM–5:00 PM

• Sunday: 9:30 AM–4:30 PM

• Must be available every other weekend and some major holidays

• Training/Orientation: First 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Candidates must be able to attend the full two-week training schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer vaccines and provide patients with appropriate vaccine education.

• Room patients, obtain medical histories, collect vital signs, and prepare patients for the provider.

• Collect specimens and assist with basic point-of-care testing.

• Check patients in, answer questions, manage patient flow, and help maintain an efficient clinic experience.

• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

• Maintain clinical supplies, exam rooms, and infection-control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

• Current Medical Assistant certification required.

• Must be comfortable and experienced with vaccine administration/injections.

• Experience obtaining vital signs, patient histories, and specimens.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.

• Ability to use electronic medical records and other computer systems.
