Summary and Highlights:

In this role, the Billing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely submission of pharmacy benefit claims. In order to achieve this, the Billing Specialist will be responsible in communicating with varies different payers and insurance processors to resolve accounts receivable claims for reimbursement.

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Details and Compensation:

Location: Monroeville, Pennsylvania 15146
Payrate: $19.50 per hour
Required Availability: Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30; hybrid and needs flexibility

Responsibilities:

Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
Good computer skills requiring basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and good typing skills.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience performing health care reimbursement, medical or pharmacy insurance/billing or related work.
Minimum 1 year experience working with health care reimbursement systems.
Ability to prioritize daily tasks. * Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Customer service skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
