2ND SHIFT MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Sandy, UT – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $17.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Thursday (2nd shift)
- 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
2ND SHIFT MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The 2nd Shift Medical Device Assembler will support the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices, including operating/maintaining equipment, completing quality inspections, and following established SOPs and quality guidelines.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

2ND SHIFT MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform assembly, testing, and packaging tasks for medical devices
- Set up, operate, perform basic maintenance on, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with specifications
- Follow SOPs/scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines
- Use basic measurement tools (example: microscopes) as needed
- Rotate into different tasks/responsibilities as assigned; work effectively in a team environment
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance and be available for flexible/extended hours if needed
2ND SHIFT MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Experience: 1+ year of manufacturing/assembly experience
- Skills: Ability to read/write/understand English specifications; basic math skills; strong attention to detail; effective communication skills; team-oriented
- Physical: Able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods; occasionally lift/move 50 lbs
