Medical Laboratory Scientist
Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the Hackettstown, NJ 07840 area! The Medical Laboratory Scientist would be working for a Major Health Care System and has career growth potential!
Location: This position is on-site in Hackettstown, NJ
Pay Rate: $42-$46/hr based on experience
Schedule: 3 days a week, 12-hr shifts 6p-6a – shift may vary depending on the needs of the department (float)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform lab testing in the Core Lab, and report results according to SOP.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP.
- Maintain and manage laboratory supplies.
- Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology Associates degree required.
- ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification
- Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary; new graduates welcome.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology is preferred.
