Medical Technologist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $38+ per hour based on experience
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A (401k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Medical Technologist Highlights

• The required availability for this position is Night Shift
  • 10pm – 6:30am

Medical Technologist Responsibilities

• Performs routine and standard laboratory tests and procedures on various biological specimens, following procedures and instructions as outlined in procedure manual(s) using standard and specialized techniques, instrumentation and equipment to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment of patients..

Medical Technologist Requirements

• High School Diploma GED
• Associate Degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited junior or community college including training in an approved program, or equivalent, with certification or eligibility with accredited recognized agency or organization (e.g., ASCP, AMT, etc.).
• Minimum of 12 continuing education credits are required to be completed each calendar year for continued employment.

OR

• Undergraduate degree in science (biology, chemistry, nursing) and successful completion of medical laboratory technician trainee role.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or certification eligible from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), preferred.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
