Location: Charlotte or Detroit (3-2 Hybrid schedule in on of the locations)

Job Description: Are you an ace in the realm of network security? We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Network Security Engineer to bolster our team. If Palo Alto firewalls and web traffic decryption are your forte, we want to hear from you. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures that safeguard our operations against cyber threats.


  • Design and implement robust and secure network environments within a multi-layered network architecture.
  • Develop and deploy security measures such as web traffic decryption for both servers and users.
  • Configure and deploy various network devices and services, including firewalls, VPNs, and more.
  • Tackle escalated issues from support tiers, troubleshooting both cloud and local infrastructure with finesse.
  • Automate network tasks and rigorously validate their efficacy.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on network performance and integrity, ensuring consistently high availability and performance.
  • Maintain meticulous technical documentation detailing network and security infrastructure.
  • Offer valuable insights and suggestions for enhancing network security capacity and scalability.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Extensive industry experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
  • Solid proficiency in network administration and architecture.
  • Thorough understanding of communication protocols (particularly TCP/IP), web traffic encryption/decryption, PKI, and certificates.
  • Familiarity with network access control models and network security practices.
  • Experience utilizing network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
