A-Line Staffing is recruiting for a full time permanent Neurocritical Care Physician in The Woodlands & Willowbrook area Northwest Houston, TX. They are offering a generous compensation and a full benefit package.
Neurocritical Care Intensivist Physician
North Houston, TX - The Woodlands & Willowbrook area
Volume - 12 – 15 patients per day
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurocritical Care
Specialty Physician Group is seeking Neurocritical Care Intensivists to join our team at both campuses. The physicians will have primary responsibility for a cross coverage program that will support both Hospitals, Neuro Critical Care Patients. One facility currently has a 25 ICU bed capacity and the other has a 32 ICU bed capacity. Both facilities will require Neurocritical Care support to manage on average 12-15 patient encounters per day. Initially the Neurocritical Care Team will be comprised of two physicians and two NPs that are trained in managing complex neurological illnesses and injuries. Physician candidates will be fellowship trained in Neurocritical Care and will provide 24-hour clinical coverage of the Neuro patients in the ICU. The care team on each campus will be supported by a dedicated Neurocritical NP, and on-site critical care physician in addition to telehealth and telestroke services. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurocritical Care, and either have a Texas license or be in the process of obtaining one.

This new 187-bed, 470,000-square-foot, full-service, acute care hospital offers many of the same services as our flagship hospital. Also, on the $380 million hospital campus, a medical office building, which opened in March 2016. Medical Office Building 1 includes a breast care center, cancer center & infusion center, orthopedics & sports medicine, rehabilitation services, wellness services, and an outpatient laboratory in addition to multi-specialty physician practices. A second medical office building and 785-car parking garage opened in 2018. The hospital completed a $250 million capital expansion in 2022 which increased bed capacity to 300, expand the emergency center to 45 rooms and increase the operating rooms to 25. This is the second phase in the master plan to expand to a 400-bed full-service tertiary care facility.

- Brain (subarachnoid) hemorrhage
- Encephalitis

- Elevated Intracranial pressure
- Continuous electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring
- Post-operative Neurosurgery and Neuro-interventional surgery patients
