Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

A leading behavioral health provider is expanding services and hiring Registered Nurses to join a dedicated team, with patient populations including youth, high acuity adult, and older adult units. This position is permanent/direct hire - no temp/contract work.
$8,000 - $12,000 Sign-On Bonus
Base Hourly Pay: $28.90 - $41.00 per hour
Flexible Shifts Available (8-hour and 12-hour shifts)
Shift Differentials: +$1.25-$5.00/hr for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts

- Youth Population: FT Nights (32 & 36 hour options), FT Evenings (32 hours)
- High Acuity Adult Population: FT Days (36hrs), FT Evenings (32hrs), FT Nights (36hrs)
- Older Adult Population: FT Evenings (32hrs), FT Nights (32hrs)
- 12-hour shifts at 7:00am-7:00pm & 7:00pm-7:00am
- 8-hour shifts: 2nd:3:00pm-11:30pm & 3rd:11:00pm-7:30am

What You’ll Do:
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and adjust as needed in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Provide and coordinate nursing care alongside physicians.
- Educate and support patients and families in treatment, discharge, and aftercare planning.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff in individual and group settings.
- Monitor for and report to the physician(s) any potential risk to patient's safety.
- Documenting, reporting, and verifying all necessary information according to established policies and procedures.
- Follow and improve patient care protocols and best practices.
- Train and oversee direct care staff and medication management when required.
- Support a patient-centered, recovery-focused approach in various clinical settings.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and commitment to organizational values.
- Maintain required training and competency standards.
- Functions as a clinical leader, delegating/coordinating staff assignments and promoting staff development.
What You Need:
- Active Michigan RN License (BSN preferred)
- Professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory as required through completion of education from an accredited school of nursing.
- Psychiatric or Emergency Department experience preferred (new grads welcome!)
- Satisfactory previous clinical experience.
- Strong emotional resilience and teamwork skills
