Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Pay Rate: $24.45/hour

Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Job Summary:
Works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to perform prescription fulfillment and inventory management tasks. Responsible for assisting with order entry, preparing non-sterile compounds, and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Fills prescriptions and prepares non-sterile compounds under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Prepackages medication for dispensing according to pharmacy standards and government regulations.
• Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, including staging medication for review and packaging post-review for delivery.
• Coordinates accurate and timely medication delivery to customers.
• Maintains proper inventory practices, including receiving and rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting in physical inventory counts.
• Helps ensure a clean and safe work environment; checks equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
• Supports pharmacy operations to promote efficient and accurate fulfillment of prescriptions.

Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

• Valid and active Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Adept in pharmacy fulfillment and inventory management.
• Non-sterile compounding and data entry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy team environment.
