Location: Greensboro, NC 27408
Pay: $67.00/hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm. Every other weekend and possible holiday rotation may be required
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a contract opportunity in Greensboro, NC. This is a patient-facing role supporting a collaborative clinical care team in a primary care setting. The provider will deliver evidence-based care, promote positive patient outcomes, and support patients through assessment, treatment, education, and ongoing health management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary and family care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions
- Deliver patient counseling and education to support healthier lifestyle choices and long-term wellness
- Perform routine examinations and diagnostic evaluations for illness and injury
- Coordinate care plans with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Support chronic condition management and preventive health screenings
- Manage patient appointments and follow-up care
- Assist with clinic operations including opening and closing, inventory, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean environment
- Promote patient engagement and encourage individuals to take an active role in their healthcare
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing for the state of practice
- National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 1 year of recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care
- Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
- Comfortable using electronic systems and healthcare technology
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if needed
