A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Correctional Nurse Practitioner in Grafton, OH.
This Nurse Practitioner position would be working for a state correctional facility and has strong potential for extension based on performance and ongoing need. This is a full-time, weekday-only opportunity.
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Compensation
- Pay rate: $70-72 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Highlights
- Full-time, on-site position at a male correctional facility
- Weekdays only — no evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Contract assignment projected for approximately 4 months, with possible extension
- Flexible shift start and end times based on facility needs
- This posting will be closed once filled or at the request of the hiring manager
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- Provide on-site primary care services to the male incarcerated population
- Deliver care in a primary care or hospital medicine setting
- Collaborate with facility healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain compliance with all credentialing, security, and clinical requirements
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Requirements
- Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP)
- Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care or hospital medicine
- Board certification
- Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification
- DEA certification
- Ability to pass background, drug screen, TB test, and all correctional facility security requirements
- Attendance is mandatory
Additional Security & Credentialing Information
- Submissions must include: resume, cover letter, RTR, CPR certification, Ohio license verification, ANCC certificate, and DEA certification
- If selected, TB test (within 30 days) and drug screen must be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance
- No cell phones permitted until proper approval is granted
- Must pass metal detector screening
- No tobacco, vapes, or cans permitted
- Food and drinks must be in clear containers (no more than 1 gallon of water)
