Nurse Practitioner Hours
- Schedule - 8-16 hours a week.
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Up to 24 - Flexible 1st shift
Nurse Practitioner Compensation
- The pay for this position is $100.00-115.00 an hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of Nurse Practitioner licensure
- Perform routine and comprehensive physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with state regulations
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as clinically indicated
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other medical studies
- Provide discharge planning and follow-up care for patients with ongoing medical needs
- Administer immunizations and vaccinations as required
- Perform minor medical procedures as permitted by training and competency
- Determine the need for and coordinate referrals to specialty services
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation per HIPAA and facility policies
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and interdisciplinary care team to support quality assurance initiatives
- Provide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing and support staff as needed
- Participate in quality improvement activities, staff meetings, and continuing education
- Serve as a clinical resource to patients, families, and staff regarding health maintenance and disease prevention
Nurse Practitioner Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Certified by the Ohio Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice
- 1 Year of experience required
