Nurse Practitioner Compensation
The pay for this position is $70.38 per hour.
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Nurse Practitioner Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
- Spanish-speaking skills highly preferred.
- Must work every other weekend, with possible holiday rotations.
- Onsite, patient-facing role with occasional travel as needed.
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- Provide primary and family evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Perform administrative duties such as clinic opening/closing, inventory management, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and patient follow-up.
- Handle patient appointments and conduct routine examinations to promote positive health outcomes.
- Encourage active patient participation in healthcare through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
Nurse Practitioner Requirements
- Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification.
- State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Current BLS certification from ARC or AHA required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Candidate questionnaire must be included with resume.
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
Nurse Practitioner Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience preferred (family medicine or primary care practice).
- Experience with Electronic Medical Systems (EMS).
- Self-motivated, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate frequently with colleagues.
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures.
