Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Compensation

• The pay for this position is $74.87 per hour.
• Benefits are available to eligible employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to convert to permanent employment based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with training at the Palmyra Clinic Tuesday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidenced-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
• Perform administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Manage patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and wellness through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and chronic condition management.
• Collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to drive better outcomes for patient panels.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Requirements

• Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification.
• Active license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care preferred; if not, successful completion of CVS MinuteClinic primary care training program.
• Working knowledge of quality measurement in chronic disease management.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues to ensure quality patient care.

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a remote clinical care team environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
