Job Title: 166874 – Contingent Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float
Location: Austell, GA 30106
Start Date: 03/02/2026
Assignment End Date: 08/29/2026
Status: Temp to Perm (opportunity to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs)
Schedule: Full-Time, 32–40 hours per week (includes every other weekend)
Pay Rate: $37.17 per hour
Work Setting: In-person, patient-facing role
Floating Requirement: May require floating to nearby clinic locations
Position Overview
This is a full-time contingent LVN/LPN float role supporting a retail clinic healthcare environment. The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse will be an essential member of the clinical care team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered services in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
This role requires strong immunization experience, the ability to manage multiple patient care tasks simultaneously, and comfort working within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), preferably EPIC.
Key Responsibilities

Administer vaccinations and injections, including but not limited to:

Influenza
-
COVID
-
TB test placements
-

Provide evidence-based vaccine counseling and education to patients and parents
-
Obtain and document vital signs
-
Provide emergency care in collaboration with on-site provider during emergent situations
-
Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
-
Assist with wait room management and patient flow
-
Conduct patient reminder and outreach calls
-
Schedule appointments
-
Serve as chaperone for sensitive exams
-
Prepare and maintain clinic and waiting area for optimal patient experience
-
Deliver patient-focused care aligned with clinical quality and safety standards
Required Qualifications
-
Active, full, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia

Graduate of a Practical or Vocational Nursing program approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLNAC) at time of completion

Minimum of one (1) year related work experience in a healthcare setting

Previous experience administering immunizations and injections

Experience providing evidence-based vaccine counseling and education
-
Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), preferably EPIC
-
Ability to accurately obtain and document vital signs
-
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED use
-
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
-
Ability to work full-time clinic hours, including every other weekend
-
Ability and willingness to float to nearby clinic locations
Important Candidate Considerations
This role requires adaptability to a fast-paced retail clinic environment. Candidates whose experience is primarily in long-term care settings (such as nursing homes, home health, LTACs, or skilled nursing facilities) may face challenges if they do not have:

Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems
Candidates must be comfortable working independently while collaborating with on-site providers and clinic staff.
