Obstetrics Registered Nurse Compensation

• The pay for this position is $54-$60 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Obstetrics Registered Nurse Highlights

• Shift: nights 7P-7A
• Shift length: ( 12 x 3 )
• Weekend rotation: Every third weekend
• On call: none
• Start date: 04/21

Obstetrics Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in both labor and delivery (L&D) and postpartum units, ensuring seamless transition between the two areas as needed.
• Monitor and manage labor progress, assist with deliveries, and support mothers and newborns during the postpartum period.
• Adapt to fluctuating patient census and volume in a small unit with 3 labor and delivery rooms and 8 postpartum rooms.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and comfort in both settings.

Obstetrics Registered Nurse Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing – Required
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Fully trained to labor and delivery - two-plus (2+) years of experience required
• State of MI – RN License – required.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, EFM, & STABLE - required

Obstetrics Registered Nurse Preferred Qualifications

• BSN – preferred.
• Post-partum experience preferred.
