Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Compensation
- The pay for this position is between $125,000.00 to $170,000.00
Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Highlights
- The position within occupational health will be for 12 hour shifts and the plan would be for this role to work 3 shifts a week with 8 hours in occ health and then the remainder of the shift (4 hours) within our Prompt Care clinic.
Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse who possesses additional clinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursing practice.
- They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment and management of health-illness needs to provide direct patient care and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff.
- The NP consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Health and serves as a role model to other employees.
Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Requirements
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application
- Meets Centers for MediCal and Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare
- Current CPR recognition
- Current ACLS recognition (within 18 months of hire)
- Current PALS recognition (within 18 months of hire)
- Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff and Finance office
- Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner Certification (within 3 months of hire) (dept tracks) High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Preferred Qualifications
- One-year experience providing condition of employment, pre-employment exam.
- Bilingual in Spanish desirable
- One-year experience evaluation & treatment in workers’ compensation/injured worker episodic care setting, occupational and environmental health clinic, and /or employee health nurse in a medical or industrial facility: Occupational Health
