Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Compensation

• The pay for this position is between $125,000.00 to $170,000.00

Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Highlights

• The position within occupational health will be for 12 hour shifts and the plan would be for this role to work 3 shifts a week with 8 hours in occ health and then the remainder of the shift (4 hours) within our Prompt Care clinic.

Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities

• The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse who possesses additional clinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursing practice.
• They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment and management of health-illness needs to provide direct patient care and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff.
• The NP consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Health and serves as a role model to other employees.

Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Requirements

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application
• Meets Centers for MediCal and Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare
• Current CPR recognition
• Current ACLS recognition (within 18 months of hire) 
• Current PALS recognition (within 18 months of hire)
• Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff and Finance office
• Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner Certification (within 3 months of hire) (dept tracks) High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Preferred Qualifications

• One-year experience providing condition of employment, pre-employment exam.
• Bilingual in Spanish desirable
• One-year experience evaluation & treatment in workers’ compensation/injured worker episodic care setting, occupational and environmental health clinic, and /or employee health nurse in a medical or industrial facility: Occupational Health
