Office Manager HR Assistant (Hybrid) — Flint / Warren, MI (Contract-to-Hire)

Employment Type: Temporary (Contract-to-Hire; conversion depends on performance, attendance, and team fit)
Location: Flint, MI (Hybrid — Metro Detroit preferred; supporting Warren, MI project)
Schedule: Flexible; averages 30–40 hours/week
Pay: $45,000–$50,000/year
Work Setup: Hybrid (equipment provided)

The role is primarily remote with 1 onsite day per week in Flint, MI. Future support for projects in the Warren/Metro Detroit area may occasionally require local travel.

Summary

Binson’s Outpatient Pharmacy is hiring an Office Manager / HR Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting multi-site operations. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for office management, executive/admin support, HR operations, accounts payable, QuickBooks reporting, and compliance/credentialing support. Ideal for a detail-driven operator who can own processes, keep documentation audit-ready, and drive follow-through in a fast-moving environment.

  • Open to Hybrid candidates
  • Preference: Metro Detroit–based (new project/client launching in Warren, MI)
  • Must be willing to drive to Flint 1x/week for in-person meetings

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day office management and executive administrative support
  • Manage accounts payable, invoice tracking, vendor follow-up, and payment workflows
  • Maintain QuickBooks activity and produce basic reporting including financials and aging reports
  • Support payroll processing and HR documentation workflows
  • Handle HR administration including hiring, onboarding, employee records, employee engagement, and employee relations
  • Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Support compliance needs including credentialing/recredentialing and documentation readiness
  • Assist with PBM audit and Board of Pharmacy related support needs
  • Support store operations and take on additional high-priority projects (including marketing/admin support) as needed

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in Office Management + HR/Admin in a busy environment
  • Hands-on accounts payable experience and comfort with financial documentation
  • QuickBooks experience (AP and reporting/aging preferred)
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and employee documentation
  • Strong documentation discipline; able to keep files organized and audit-ready
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and handling sensitive/confidential information
  • Able to work hybrid and travel to Flint 1x/week (required)
