Operations Manager Compensation

• The pay for this position is $120,000.00 - 145,000.00 Salary depending on experience
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Operations Manager Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

Operations Manager Responsibilities

· Lead and develop production teams to enhance employee safety, product quality, and team morale.

· Ensure the achievement of operational goals while adhering to quality and food safety standards.

· Foster positive relationships with the community and support local government and community programs.

· Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to food safety and quality.

· Communicate production timelines and tasks to team members effectively.

· Hold monthly safety meetings, provide training, and address any operational concerns.

· Provide leadership during the absence of the Plant Manager, ensuring seamless operations.

Operations Manager Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience managing within a manufacturing plant. Food manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a strong understanding of the production process, maintenance, shipping, receiving, sanitation, quality assurance, safety, human resources, and material management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Strong decision-making, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide guidance and training during off hours as needed.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems for data management and compiling reports to drive productivity improvements.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
