MATERIAL HANDLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Columbus, NE 68601 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $22.70/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time |3rd shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The Material Handler will support production by safely moving materials to and from the warehouse and production areas while maintaining accurate product identification, traceability, and material status. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

- Transfer materials in and out of warehouse rack systems
- Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to and from production areas
- Handle rejected, experimental, validation, and hazardous materials as required
- Operate electric forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), electric pallet jacks, material tuggers, and slip-sheeting equipment
- Maintain accurate, legible records and complete SAP/MES transactions
- Identify and report damaged materials
- Recycle and remove waste as needed
- Maintain forklift certification
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Perform other duties as needed to support warehouse operations
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Forklift experience required
- 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Steel toe shoes required
