Industrial Control Tech I Compensation
- Pay Rate: $31–$34 per hour + $2 per hour shift differential
- Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM
- Shift Requirements: Split shifts, nights, weekends, and on-call for downtime events
- Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Industrial Control Tech I Highlights
- This position is a direct hire role based in a fully automated Distribution Center.
- The required availability includes split shifts and on-call responsibilities for addressing downtime events.
- Candidates will receive hands-on training and the opportunity to work with advanced Materials Handling Equipment (MHE).
Industrial Control Tech I Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including three-phase and single-phase systems up to 600 volts.
- Test, replace, and repair equipment such as AC/DC motors, power supplies, frequency drives, servo drives, transformers, and motor starters.
- Maintain proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including configuration, troubleshooting, and programming.
- Read and interpret CAD layouts, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder and block logic.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks for facility equipment and systems.
- Manage inventory of spare parts using CMMS software.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and operational requirements.
- Provide technical support during upgrades and modifications of MHE.
Industrial Control Tech I Requirements
- Education: Technical vocational training or equivalent experience and education.
- Experience: 1–2 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably with a strong electrical background.
- Ability to perform advanced diagnostics and repair for various mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of testing equipment, instrumentation systems, and chemical treatments.
- Proficiency with MS Office, RSLogix, Sort Director, GSMi, IPoint, Flex Sort, and other MHE software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Industrial Control Tech I Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in compliance-critical roles.
- Familiarity with advanced MHE configurations.
- Strong technical aptitude for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
