A-Line Staffing is now hiring Overnight Pharmacists in the Harrisburg, PA 17111 area! The Pharmacist will be working in a retail pharmacy setting! The position is a full time 40 hours per week!

*This is a 13 week contract with potential to extend or possibility to convert to permanent!*

Pay: $65-$68/hr - Pay is based on experience!

Schedule: Overnights - 8 hr shifts/40hrs a week

• The pharmacy is open 24hrs 7 days a week
• The schedule will be overnight shifts must be comfortable with this!

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers with their health care needs by filling prescriptions, providing excellent customer service, and supervising Pharmacy associates. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Build profitable business and script growth through recommended clinical programs, including appropriate immunization and, when available, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), DCS (Diabetes Care Specialist), and other ongoing programs as identified.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise the work completed by Pharmacy Technicians and support staff while on duty.
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while providing patient counseling on proper medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions.
• Collaborate with health care providers to ensure optimal patient care, managed inventory, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy protocols.
  Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) to optimize patient health outcomes, monitor for adverse effects, and recommend alternative therapies when necessary.
• Administers immunizations and provided health screenings, offering additional services to improve community wellness.
• Manages pharmacy operations, including supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and maintaining proper inventory control.

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist License in the state of Pennsylvania
• Bachelor's Degree Required / PharmD is highly preferred
• Immunization Certification
• Pharmacy experience in a retail setting is highly preferred!
