PCU/Tele Registered Nurse Summary and Highlights:

• Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
• Shift: Nights, 7pm – 730am | 36 hours per week
• 24-bed mixed acuity unit, 1:5/6

The PCU/Tele Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

PCU/Tele Registered Nurse Details and Compensation:

• Location: Barberton, OH 44203
• Payrate: Negotiable based on traveler status and experience
• Required Availability: Nights, 7pm – 730am | 36 hours per week | Some weekends and holidays

PCU/Tele Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• 24-bed mixed acuity unit
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC
• Ratios 1:5/6 - will vary based on patient level of care needs.
• Primarily providing care for medical patient that require telemetry monitoring.
• Patient population could also include progressive care level patients which include cardiovascular treatment plans involving medication drips as well as neurological patients requiring frequent NIH assessments.
• COVID and other isolation patients may be part of the patient population on this unit.

PCU/Tele Registered Nurse Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing through the CCNE or ACEN
• Active OH RN License
• 2+ years of relevant experience | Tele
• Must be able to draw blood and start IVs
• BLS, ACLS and NIH
• EPIC experience in the last year
